Q2. Which locations can I buy a geofilter for?

Currently Snapchat only allows for geofilters to be located in the United States, Canada, UK, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil.

Q3. What can I use Snapchat geofilters for?

Snapchat filters are great for personal use, such as a birthday, wedding, engagement party, bridal shower, bachelor/bachelorette party, bar/bat mitzvah, and class reunions (or really any occasion or event you’d like to celebrate). Geofilters are also a great way for businesses to promote a special event (ex. holiday happy hour) or use for ongoing local marketing campaigns.

Q4. Are hashtags allowed on Snapchat filter designs?

No hashtags of any kind are allowed on a Snapchat geofilter.

Q5. Do you offer customer support?

Q7. I own a business, can I also purchase a custom Snapchat filter?

Absolutely. We’ve worked with a number of businesses to help them create a custom Snapchat filter for their business, venue, restaurant as well as for special occasions / holidays. We can also help with the ongoing management and performance marketing campaigns that business utilize as part of their quarterly or annual social media budget. Q1. How much does it cost?

We have a number of base Snapchat filter designs that can be modified for your event at $14.99/filter, and then a range of plans for a custom designed filter, covering our Standard Plan ($35/filter), Custom Plan ($55/filter) and Premium Plan ($99/filter). Q2. Why do I pay the design fee upfront?

The design fee is required to start since our design team begins work on an order once received, so we incur costs to start the work. Please check our past designs to get a sense of the quality and rest assured that if you’re not happy with your final design, we offer a 100% Quality Guarantee and will provide you with a full refund if you’re not satisfied.


Q1. How long will my order take to complete?

For our standard Snapchat filter templates, we’ll provide you with a draft filter to review within 24 hours. For our custom filter design plans (Standard, Custom, Premium), we’ll send you a first draft for review ranging from 36 hours to 4 days depending on the complexity of the design (ie. custom cartoon caricatures will take longer).

Q2. What if I buy a geofilter that is denied by Snapchat?

100% of our filters purchased by our clients have been approved by Snapchat. Occasionally, Snapchat may not initially approve a filter for some reason, but our team will quickly update the filter to ensure any necessary changes are made to receive approval.

Q3. Can I rush my order if I need it sooner?

Yes! We understand that sometimes you need a filter ASAP for an upcoming event, whether your own or for a friend / family member. We offer rush pricing to start and complete your filter within 24 hours, with the rush charge applied in addition to our standard design fees. Our 24 hour rush charge for weekdays is $25 and our rush charge for weekends is $36.

Q4. What if I don’t like the design?

If you’re not happy with your draft design in any way, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your changes. Please make sure to be as descriptive as possible when describing what you don’t like and what you would like changed.

Q5. What happens after I place an order?

Once your order is placed, one of our team members will reach out to you within 24 hours to confirm the order to get started. We’ll reconfirm all of your order details (messaging, location, duration, etc.) to make sure we have everything right. After that, we’ll send a draft filter for review!

Q6. My Snapchat filter is not working, what do I do?

If your approved Snapchat filter is not showing up in the correct location, please make sure to check that you have turned on your location services to allow Snapchat to locate where you are. Snapchat doesn’t store the location data, but will allow you to view geofilters located in your area.

Q7. What restrictions are there for the geofilter?

The following items are not approved to be shown on a filter:

  • Phone numbers
  • Emails
  • Hyperlinks
  • Snapcodes
  • Download instructions
  • Logos or trademarks you don’t own or have permission to use
  • Hashtags
  • Social media usernames or logos
  • Personal information
  • Drug-related content
